Landlord services

It is the landlord’s responsibility to make sure that rented property is fit for purpose and safe in relation to electrical wiring and fixed appliances. An Electrical Installation Condition report is required at each change of tenancy, or every 5 years whichever is sooner, to verify that the electrical wiring has not been damaged or changed in any way.

If you are a landlord, you should consider getting a report on your property when there is:

  • Any change in occupancy
  • Any change of use
  • Any alteration to the existing installation
  • Any reason to believe that the installation may have been damaged

We offer the following testing and inspection services:

  • Part P certification
  • Electrical Installation Condition reports
  • Minor works installation certificates
  • Periodic electrical inspection report
  • Home buyers and sellers electrical survey
  • Visual condition report
  • Portable appliance testing (PAT testing)
  • New installations
